Description
The s5000LED is a CNC probe design with normally closed internal switch contacts. When probe comes in contact with any work surface the internal switch opens and light comes on. Accuracy when probing locations is ~.0005 and repeat trigger ability is +-.0002″. This probe works with Mach3/4, Dynomotion, Centroid(acorn and others), Mesa, Masso, and other CNC control systems with probing routines.
Comes with probe connector for making cable as you need it.

I use the Drewtronics probe on my VMC controlled by Linuxcnc and Probe Basic and the product quality, precision and accuracy is fantastic! Bought this through Chris at Small Shop Concepts to support his work on the very cool Probe_Basic CNC interface. Looks and works great ! Eventually purchased the optional 1/4″ shank to allow me to use it on smaller machines. I’m currently recommending one for the Rochester Makerspace for use on our Tormach pcnc 1100 that was recently donated to us by our local college, Rochester Institue of Technology (RIT).
